A charming woman’s short-circuited ego shows to be incapable of deciphering sex and love. Believing that she could have several secret, intimate relationships with women and give no notice when she commits to one, proved her malfunction. FEMALFUNCTION was inspired from the long conversations and angry reactions from the unchosen women in her love pentagon. Mixed-media such as signage, currency, and hand cut styrofoam is placed on the emotional (heart) and sexual (genitals) sections of a female body outline. Often showing trifling understandings of sexual and emotional differences. The series presents a play on sex and love while working to spark intriguing conversations on secret relationships.
